The Start Of It All

I stalked through the forest trying to be as quiet as possible. I knew there was a mouse by i could smell it and hear it little paws on the ground. I saw a little bit of its fur by the bush. I froze then i dropped low and pounced. I sunk my teeth into it killing it instantly. I picked it up and buried it so i could come back for it later but for now i would go and hunt some more.

i sat by the freshkill pile waiting for RubyStar to return. Knowing she had gone hunting.

I padded over to the place where i buried my prey. I picked it all up knowing i had plenty to bring back to camp. I started off toward camp dodging bushes and trees. I saw Bushfur by the freshkill pile i walked over and put the prey in the pile. "Morning Bushfur." I meowed.

"Morning Rubystar, i see the preys been active." i meow nodding my head towards the growing pile.

"Yes it has, good thing to." I said while taking a mouse from the pile. "Care to join me?" I asked moving the mouse in my mouth so it wouldn't sound weird.

"yes, it's the perfect time to eat." i say grabbing a grouse and padding over to where Rubystar was settling down. "what do you expect at the gathering?" i asking chewing my grouse.

"I honestly don't know." I said while taking a bite from my mouse. "Anything could happen." I said. I hoped it sure wasn't anything bad.

We quietly finished our meals then shared tongues. "It's such a nice day we wouldn't want to waste it." i meow looking over at Rubystar.

"I suppose your right." I said. I got up and stretched "Shall we go patrol?" I asked. We would be getting some exercise and make sure no other clans came on our territory.

"you red my mind." i say padding over to Raven. i race up to the top and sit waiting for Rubystar.

I raced out of camp "Lets Go!" I said over my shoulder to Bushfur we where jumping over logs and dodging stuff when we came short of a twoleg smell. I curled my lips in disgust. "Lets go see what that smell is."

i follow Rubyfur, with my fur standing on end. after following the smell we come to a thicket.

I crouched under a bush with Bushfur, I tried to see what the smell was but I couldn't make it out. I bristled. "Can you see anything Bushfur?" I asked.

i peered through the bush and saw two twoleg kits playing by a tree sampling. "what should we do?" i ask Rubystar.

I looked at the two kits playing the I looked back to Bushfur "We should probably get them out of here before they get hurt. They don't know the danger out here." I said looking back at the two kits.

"yes, but how should we do that?" i meow looking cautiously at one of the kits who came close to crashing into our hiding place.

I sighed. "We are going to have to just go out there. If they run then well they will go back home." I said and got up. I stalked out of the bushes, the kits froze their eyes wide with terror. I knew it was mostly of my Ruby eyes.

" yes, your right." i say planing the best way for them to leave without getting hurt in the process.

"Come on Bushfur, if the kits see us they will run back home i hope." I said stepping out of the bushes. The kits looked even more scared now that they could see me. "You are in ThunderClan territory little ones." I said. I looked back at the bush to see if Bushfur was coming.

i emerged from the bushes watching the kits. i curled back my lip to show my long teeth.

I let out a low growl. One of the kits finally snapped out of it "Who says this is anyone's territory." He spat. I curled my lips back revealing my teeth. "Your a kittypet. Like you would know about territory." I sneered.

i growled low in my throat and started stalking towards the kits

I pounced forward startling the kits. They hissed trying to scramble away. I growled and batted my claws at them. I heard paw steps from my left I turned to look but was cut short when something slammed into me. I looked up to see the mother of the kits on top of me growling.

i watch as Rubystar is thrown to the ground by the mother of the kits. i grabbed her by the scruff and throw her off of my leader.

I got up growling. "Thank you Bushfur." I said. I looked back at the mother she was gathering her kits and leaving. "Let's go no. We seem to have made our point to the kittypets." I meowed and bounded into the woods back to camp.
